This is a huge D6 Collumbian (not Columbian of USA) Swivel bench vise. It has one jaw that is not original. It has some shop grime, but this is a very good vise.

Everything on this vise works great; Pipe jaws below, stands 8.5 in. high. The handle is 9 in. long. It has one swivel lock, and is parallel to the body when you tighten it. (I don\'t like swivel locks that stick out awkwardly when tight.)

The handle is straight, the vise opens and closes easily. The jaws are 6 in. wide and it opens to 6.5 in. capacity.

The vise has a 4 point base, and it is taken apart for shipping because I don\'t want an ear of that base broken off when the shipping monkeys get ahold of it!

The main bolt and nut are fine, there is NO HOLE through the main bolt , which causes failure of the bolt when torqued down hard; not a problem on this vise.^
If you want your vise to last, DO NOT use a cheater pipe on the handle. The makers designed the handle to match the strength of the main nut. If the nut is broken, you have an expensive door stop.

Faster Delivery:
I must get my items to the Post office before 1:30 pm Mon-Friday. That means in order for me to have time to prepare your package, I have to have your payment before 12 noon, for the package to go out THAT DAY.
This means that if you can get payment to me before noon, the item will come to you one day sooner than if you make the payment after noon of the same day. Of course, if you order at any time from Friday noon through Sunday morning, there will probably be an extra day or two delay.
