These are Really Nice QualityNatural Green Vesuvianite StoneCut and Polished Made Sphere Ball From Made In India. They are polished smooth. Vesuvianite is also known as Idocrase or Vasonite. Both names are used interchangeably. The Gemological Institute of America prefers Idocrase.
Idocrase is a fascinating mineral found originally on Mt Vesuvius, the famous volcano in Italy which erupted violently during the Roman Empire in 79 AD, nd destroyed the city of Pompeii, burying it and all its inhabitants in ash. Hence this gem is sometimes known as Vesuvianite. Vesuvianite represents cooperative effort and as such, it is a wonderful stone to present to newlyweds, business associates, friends and acquaintances.
Vesuvianite can be useful when needing to clear negative and/or repetitive thought patterns from the mental and emotional bodies.
