Here is an exciting specimen with Huebnerite crystals in Quartz. from the Well known Adams mine in Colorado, which is an old classic locality for some of the best Huebnerites(Hubnerites) the USA has produced. Similar to Ferberite, Huebnerite tends to be more pretty, due to it\'s red tones. It vaguely resembles Rutile in appearance, except the crystals have a different shape.crystallization, usually much more flattened. Here you see both nicely crystallized Huebnerites, with one crystal prominent, and smaller on the other side of the specimen. At the same time, you see the discrete, almost straight margins between the Huebnerites and the Quartz, showing that you are actually looking at a crystallized ore vein. Just a very interesting formation and good example for the locality. This specimen is 151 grams in weight, or 5 1/4 oz. The size is 2.5 inch x 2 inch x 1.5 inch in size.
