Hubertus Carbon Steel Lock Back Pocket Knife, Very Nice Condition, Wood Scales:

Up for sale is a Hubertus lock back pocket knife in very good condition.

It’s possible the knife was never used/carried but the carbon steel blade does have some minor blemishes from age. I see zero marks on the blade or sharpened edge that leads to believe it was ever run across a sharpening stone.

It’s a single blade knife and rather large for a pocket knife. The blade measures 3 7/8” with a simple Hubertus Solingen stamp on the unsharpened portion of the blade.

Overall it measures 8 3/4” and feels great in the hand with some heft due to the full length wood scales.

The lock is a simple back lock style.

It looks like the blade markings date the knife to 1950s or earlier and it definitely looks the part.
