For sale is a Howard Johnson’s employee service award pin. It features the Pieman Boy & Dog logo, was made by Balfour and probably belonged to a woman based on its construction. It is made of 1/10 10K Goldfill and comes with its original box. Now as you can see there is some patina on the front and a green patina on the back. This is because the pin had been sitting on a bed of foam inside the box. Over time the foam breaks down, powders and leaves behind the green residue. I removed all the foam so that no further decoloration occurs. I do not clean or polish items so that the buyer knows exactly what they are getting. It is up to the winning buyer to decide wether to clean the pin or not and what method they wish to use. Besides that the pin is in very nice shape and may have never been worn?
