Highly Unusual Large Ornate Embossed Tureen Covered Dish - Cherubs, Greek Gods:

Highly unusual tureen in excellent condition, no damage and very little signs of use wear. decorated in the Greek or Italian Renaissance style, the serving vessel is decorated all around with what appears to be Greek or Roman gods, cherubs with casks of wine, sheep and grapevines. Features a handled cover over a footed deep bowl, which is flanked by satyr-type ram horn figurehead handles. Measurements (approximate due to the shape) are as follows: - 18\" long handle to handle
- 14\" tall with the lid to the top of the handle
- 7\" tall without the lid
- 9\" wide at the widest point
- 5\" bowl depth
