This was our Grandmother\'s bird cage. It was displayed and enjoyed for many years. It has a few bumps and dings as shown in the photos. The base is heavy iron, and has been painted with gold paint, probably a few time over the years. I touched it up with a light coat of gold paint, but could be stripped and repainted, if you want a pristine look, as opposed to a vintage look.
