The bird prints always commanding more than the others in the fancy and fabulous arena...these iconic duo of parrots add a flavor of island life...perhaps a huge victorian in Key West...something grand scale...ornate and ostentatious filled with the riches of the time...fine china...victorian velvet sofas...a turn of the century mansion is befitting this remnant of pure cotton royalty with a Art Nouveau flair in one of the earliest forms of barkcloth in a textured pattern of raises diamond shaped chevrons.
This offering is for unused unwashed perfectly storedremnant from 1920...the earliest forms of what we know are some of the early textures of these iconic patterns...right at the height of the Art Deco movement sweeping the world....you can imagine this fabric more than 100 years ago being used as the focal point of a room...yet here today you have the opportunity to travel back to 1920 for but just a minute to make a very heirloom purchase...something no on e else on earthpossesses...I'd say that makes this pretty priceless...yet I have a price...and all considering what a deal! A taupe latte beige ground with wonderful saturated colors mixed with more subtle colors...vibrant cobalt and sky blue...banana yellow...lavender purple...dark chocolate...creamy charcoal adds a level of pure drama...eggplant purple...dove gray...caramel with black and white accents.
