It was hand painted/finished bylocal craftsmen in the Cotswoldarea of England. Harmony Kingdom description: "This box figurine portrays sea turtles at their most vulnerable – as they hatch and make a mad dash to the sea. The seven species are inscribed throughout: Green, Hawksbill, Leatherback, Loggerhead, Flatback, Kemp’s Ridley and Olive Ridley. Interestingly, the sex of the turtle depends on the temperature of the eggs. At 28°C they become males and at 32°C they are females. Anywhere in between is a tossup.
