The quilt is HEAVY! Weighing almost 7 lbs.
Wool backed and I believe there is wool as the fill; freshly machine washed, hung to dry. There are several places in the front where the patchwork has come away from the quilt; shown in photos. Still very usable and you may be able to repair or tack down those spots; although it will not be perfect, due to age of material!
