Handmade 30s Farmhouse Calico Feed Sack Pinwheel Star Patchwork Full Size Quilt For Sale

This handmade blanket is made up of a variety of vintage and antique fabrics, some dating back to the 1930s era as feed sacks, and others being more modern, most likely from the 60s / 70s and most likely being made from pieces of children’s clothing. The largest squares on the quilt are all ditzy calico florals, while the star squares are the ones that have novelty prints, stripes from shirting materials, ginghams, chambrays and flannels. My favorite pieces are the gardening theme mid century print, and others that have neon birds. It’s hand tied, and there are areas of hand sewing.
What makes this special: It’s even signed! I believe this was started in 1950, and completed in 1989 if I understand the embroidery correctly.
Decorating ideas: This quilt is small enough it could work in a living room or even in a van! It’s a fun farmhouse / cottage accent piece. It’s paired with a Ralph Lauren dust ruffle in the photos, and it pairs nicely in the blue and white color scheme.

Colors: Soft earth tones with shades of blues and grey, with hints of orange, yellow and red.

Condition: Excellent pre-loved vintage condition, with no flaws or damages to note. I have done some small scale repairs on the seams, so some areas have embroidered edges, as shown in the photos. This quilt is freshly washed and ready to use.
