Vintage Black & Decker DUST BUSTER Handheld Vacuum CHV9608, circa turn of the century. It charges and it works as it should (photo #2).A great find for the collectors or end users likewise.DISCLOSURE: the plug needs replaced or repaired — gets warm when plugged in and charged. The plug is two-prong and non-polarized. Of course \"warm\" is highly subjective (based on personal feelings) but this is how I felt it.
The vacuum measures approximately 16\"L (photo #12) and it works except as stated in the DISCLOSURE ABOVE. I am the original owner. Purchased at Target years ago. Perfect for vacuuming small spaces OR for car cleaning. The red nozzle extends full 4 inches for hard to reach places. There\'s minor surface wear from normal use that doesn\'t affect function. Instructions manual is not included (and no clue where it went).This Dust Buster can be hung on a wall for further convenience (there are two screw slots at the base).The red sliding button at the top is for power on and off. The one next to it (pale red) is for releasing the front part that covers the filter. The filter is released for cleaning by turning it clockwise.
