VINTAGE (1500s) IRON MILITARY FORK HALBERD HEAD. This interesting piece of early combat history is 12.5\" long with 6.75\" spikes, and 4\" wide at the points. During its working life it would have been attached to a long, heavy wooden shaft which was 1.5\" in diameter at the head. It is believed to have been used in the 1573 siege of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. These were used to repel ladders, defend cannons and generally wreak whatever havoc needed to be wreaked. It weighs 1.5 pounds, dates back to the 1500s, and is in very good condition considering it\'s age and use. As always, I offer a no-questions-asked 60-day return policy.
