HUGE 20” Dehillerin Antique Hammered Dovetailed French Copper Stockpot Cauldron:

Absolutely stunning and massive antique hand hammered dovetailed copper stockpot by Dehillerin Paris. Copper body with brass handles. Stamped below one handle. No lid, only pot.

Stock pot is 16” tall and 20” wide and is assumed to be approximately 85 quarts in volume. It weighs approximately 41 pounds. Thickness is estimated at between 1.5-2mm thick but without a proper measuring device this is only as estimate.

The pot has recently been cleaned with copper polish but not shined up fully and some verdigris remains around the handles, bottom, and various areas. The pot shows its age in several scratches varying in depth, some dings and pits, and rim has a few slight dents or crimps. The interior will need to be retinned to be used as a cooking vessel as the tin has mostly worn off. As the pot has recently been cleaned but is not sealed the patina may be darker when it arrives to you than in the pictures.
