Offered for sale is a 19-inch Frankoma palm leaf tray in Red Flame (orange-red) number T11. (19” x 8.25”)

This mold was originally designed by Janiece Frank for Club Trade Winds in Oklahoma in the early 60’s, but later reproduced and offered to the public because of the popularity of the pieces. This is a hard-to-find piece and a wonderful addition to your mid-century decor or your Frankoma collection.

You can find a lot of information about this and other Polynesian designs done by Frank for Club Trade Winds in the 1960s.

***Condition: Bright, beautiful finish, but does have a hairline along the edge (at about the 2 o’clock position from the stem of the leaf) that appears to have taken a bump at some point in time. I have owned and admired this piece for several years as it is, and have never found this defect to detract from the beauty of the piece.
