A handbill / herald / quarter sheet / broadsheet from the\"HONEST BILL SHOWS\"- This double-sided handbill was used to promote the show in Palmyra, Missouri in 1924.

Handwriting on the bottom border on the reverse of the handbill reads \"Palmyra 1924\".

Amazing condition considering the age. Newsprint handbills were never meant to last, used primarily to promote the upcoming show by being stapled to event boards and telephone poles. Very rare to find in any condition.

From a collection of broadsheets, programs and other circus paper collectibles dating to the late 1800s / early 1900s.

When properly preserved and framed, this would make an amazing display piece.

Measures approximately 9 x 24 inches.

FINE condition, folded in quarters (3 horizontal folds) hairline tears along the edges of the top and bottom folds, minor edge / corner wear that does not enter the main subject matter area. - Please view listing photos to best view detail and condition.

The handbill will be placed in a poly sleeve and shipped folded along the existing horizontal fold at center. It will then be loosely rolled and placed inside a new cardboard box.
