This listing is for a vintage Griswold model 1003 French Deep Fat Fryer with bail & cover. (Pictured bottom pg. 71 Book of Griswold & Wagner, Blue Book 4th ed.)

This item does not have its original basket nor the original cover pictured. (See last photo)

The cover fits rather loosely and I believe it is BSR (Birmingham) cover, in any case, it is not the same as the one pictured on pg. 71, so I assume it is NOT original.

As you can see in the photos the cover is heavily pitted from rust.

The fryer has a slight spin/ wobble. It is not prone to spin but will spin a few inches if you tap the handle on a glass top. (SEE VIDEO)
