WW1German/Prussian Leather Pickelhaube

Reproduction ofthe 19th/20th Century Prussian Pickelhaube.

These helmetswere still in use at the beginning of the Great War but were slowly phased outdue to the shortage of leather and practicality of design being reduced to allbut ceremonial function by the end of the war. They are made from hardenedleather to give the glossy finish and trimmed in gold coloured metal.

These particularhelmets are like the 1915 model and feature the detachable top spike, whichwould have been removed when serving at the front. These will fit head sizes57-59cm.

These helmetsare all individually hand made and have an individual craftsman\'s finish ratherthan a mass produced, machine made feel and look. They have been made to mirrorthe originals, but with a little TLC you can have them looking fantastic as adisplay piece.
