This sale is for a lot of three (3) West German medals that were awarded to German army soldiers and also first responders (police, firemen, and medical personnel) for disaster relief efforts in three disasters. They included the following catastrophies:1.) The storm surge and flooding in Schleswig-Holstein on 16-17 February 1962. (Medal #1 in photos.)2.) For the forest fire in 1992 in Saxony. Reverse of the medal says: \"waldbrandkatastrophe und weisswasser (white water).\" (Medal #2 in photos.3.) The flooding of the Danube River basin that affected Baden-Wuerttemberg all the way to Bavaria in 2002. The back of the medal says: Dank and Anerkennung.
