Amazing and rare piece of American History. This is a souvenir brochure from the 1964/1965 New York World’s Fair for the quaker oats company exhibit. It was the story of Quaker puffed rice and quaker puffed wheat and it was called “shot from guns”. The display included a large cannon with acrobats/aerialists being shot from a cannon. The husband and wife team of George and Victoria (I think) Zacchini were the aerialists and George actually signed this brochure. There don’t appear to be many George autographs out there so this one on a worlds fair piece is pretty special.
