Точная дата когда Везенбергав доме Струбинского набережной реки Фонтанки получила название «Везенберг и Ко» неизвестна.
В декабре 1882 годаГенрих Тольваненстал владельцем мастерской в этом доме и в 1884 году перевёл фотоателье «Везенберг и Ко»в дом Макарова на Вознесенском проспекте.

В конце 1870-х годов в доме Макарова на Вознесенском проспектеработала мастерскаяИвана Гринберга. В 1881 году Гринберг перевёл мастерскую на Невский проспект и в последующие два года в мастерской на Вознесенском работалиДавид Гершуни,Дмитрий ЗдобновиСергей Любимов.

В сентябре 1899 года владельцем мастерской в доме Макарова сталГенрих Везенберг, а Генрих Тольванен открыл мастерскую на Васильевском острове.

В начале 1900-х годов Генрих Везенберг сменил название мастерской. В июле 1912 года новым владельцем фотоателье сталаЛидия Рудневаи в полученных документах на право собственности мастерская упоминалась как«Везенберг Г.».
