Here is Civil War general Stonewall Jackson, the Confederate hero and brilliant war tactician who was much loved by the states in rebellion and mourned as a great loss to the Confederate army when he was shot by friendly fire on the battlefield and died in the height of the war in May 1863 at age 39.
The decanter is complete with cork. I did not try to pull the cork out or turn it. There is no liquid in the jar.
The general stands, like a stone wall, at 12.25 inches X 4\" X 3\"This decanter is a part of the McCormick Distilling Company\'s Civil War series. The following is taken from the Wikipedia page for that 150 year old distiller:
