Classic Underwood portable typewriter. Its serial number, E835537, dates it to 1935
CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITON!!! This one is gorgeous.
Excellent cosmetic condition! Glossy paint. Shiny nickel plating. Very strong decals. Lovely keyboard. No rust and minimal dust. Absolutely amazing cosmetic conditions.
The typewriter works really, really well. Carriage advances and returns well. No sticking typebars. The current ribbon is terribly dry so a new one would be be needed.
This Underwood types 10 characters per inch (Pica).
The rubber platen is original and hard but still useable. Please email me for a quote if you are interested in having a new platen installed.
Again, excellent condition!
An original, functional case is included.
