DESCRIPTION:There's one grayish-white glazed drip along the top neck of the vase and a few minor and not very noticeable incidental scuffs, found primarily on one side of the ceramic vase. No attempt has been made to mitigate, disguise or remove these small 'touches' to the vase's sidewalls physically or chemically. Aside from carefully rinsing the vessel in tepid water, it remains as it was found in the Amherst, NH home it was removed from. There are no flea-bites or ceramic loss on the edges of the vase's bottom or more importantly on the vessel's top pouring spout. There are no hairline cracks or other significantly depreciating episodes of damage to this now nearly 50 to 55 year old stoneware ceramic vase. Great kinetic, quick application of semi-opaque and semi-transparent glaze colors, which incredibly activates the vase's surfaces and makes viewing the entire piece very visually energetic, demanding the viewer's full attention. Absolutely terrific. From the masterful hands of the late, great New Hampshire, by way of Dunbarton, NH, Modernist ceramic artist Gerry Williams. Gorgeous.
CONDITION:Good to Very Good overall vintage condition.
