For your consideration is a large late Art Deco era Frantisek Halama deep jade green art glass “Women After Bath” Bacchantes vase. Nude figures of 5 women after bath stand in deep elaborate relief on the entire perimeter of the vase with sophisticated sculpted edging along the base and lip. Standing approximately 10.25” in height on the 3.75" diameter base with a 4.5" diameter polished opening, the vase is a large example that has been well cared for and appears rarely used. Exquisitely detailed with precise edging and a spectacular contrast between frosted and polished surface areas, the vase is in beautiful heirloom condition with no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Extremely faint surface scratching and mild shelf wear is seen on the bottom of the base. No visible hallmark was discovered. Wear is commensurate to age and a history of gentle display use, so please review the photos as they are a descriptive part of the listing.
