Framed Leslie’s Weekly Magazine Cover: The War in Pictures: TITLED “USA”. January 5th, 1918, after a work by James Montgomery Flagg. The magazine cover depicts an iconic Uncle Sam figure riding in an open roadster with rifle which is driven by Lady Liberty and followed by an American eagle in flight.
Housed in a brushed chrome frame under red, white and blue matte under plexiglass. SIZE: 13-1/4” x 9-3/4” sight. Overall the framed piece measures approximately 18 1/2\" x14\".
The piece is in good condition with some toning. Small hole on the lower left side. Not examined out of the frame. Please see photos.
