Fostoria Specialty Glass Square Top Iris Line Leaf & Vine Art Glass Vase:

This is an iridescent square-top tall art glass vase that was part of the Iris line made by the Fostoria Specialty Glass Company between 1901-1911. It features a rolled top edge, leaves of green & gold with tailing gold vines, a gold lustre interior that fades as it goes down from the top, and opal base glass. It is many times confused with a similar vase that was made later on by Durand in the 1920s. This vase form from FSGC is somewhat hard to find. We happen to have two of them so we are making this one available. The vase stands 11-3/4\" (29.8 cm) tall and measures 3-1/8\" (7.9 cm) square at the top. The base is 4-1/4\" (10.8 in diameter. The piece is in excellent condition without chips, flea bites, scratches, or staining.
