This is the very RARE early 1990s Franklin Mint The Flintstones vs. The Jetsonschess set.
It is complete.
It comes complete with ALL the chessmen PLUS 2 extra chess pieces! (extra Mr. Spacely and an extra Spacemobile)!!!
PLUS -- ALL the paperwork describing each piece! (rarely included as most people have lost these)
This set was made by Franklin Mint in the early 1990s. You had to order a subscription and you received one piece in the mail each month and the at the end you got the chessboard.
VERY FEW of these ever come on the market (a full one maybe once or twice in 20 years)
As you can tell... I REALLY don't want to get rid of this..... but I am just putting it up here on as I am finally thinning out my collections!
(over the years, every time someone has come over they keep asking "WHERE CAN I GET A SET LIKE THIS!!!!!!!") ... other than traveling back in time to the 1990s, I never had answer for them.
(The more I type this, the less I want to get rid of it)

This set is in BEAUTIFUL condition (Please see the photos) (Other than dust on the chessboard since it has been on display and NOT used for all these years!)This set INCLUDES THE CHESSBOARD -- which in itself is rare as most people never made it to the end of the Franklin Mint subscription.
So we have:
- The Chessboard (which ROTATES)
- ALL the Chessman (both Jetsons and Flintstones)
- TWO EXTRA chessmen(extra Mr. Spacely and an extra Spacemobile)
- PLUS -- ALL the paperwork describing each piece! (rarely included as most people have lost these)
So Finally --- all I can say is: PLEASE DO NOT buy this!!! --- But if you MUST BUY this because you MUST have this to complete you Flintstones and Jetsons collection --- please give it a good home.
