Offered for your consideration is a vintage (1950\'s) \"Flaminaire\" pocket lighter made by The Parker Pen Co. in the USA.
This revolutionary lighter was covered by US Patent No. 2,495,345 which was granted in 1950 for:\"The present invention relates to pyrophoric lighters for use with a liquifled gas, and more particularly to pocket cigar lighters\".
This lighter is presented in it\'s original fitted case, with original Operating Instructions flyer.
Condition - It is listed as \"used\", because it is pre-owned, but it was, at most, very lightly used.

The brown leather (?) covered case is completely undamaged. The gold embossed Flaminaire logo on the front is somewhat faded.
The lighter is in excellent condition, with just some extremely light handling scuffs on the brushed chrome sides.
I have not filled it with fuel but the flint does spark.
