WWII USN Mk 1 Training Bayonet, measuring 20.5" overall with a blade length of 15.75". These were made in the 1940's for use by the Navy. It has a metal tang and a black plastic blade. The blade is in excellent condition with the point end having a tiny surface nick/chip on the false edge point followed by a couple of smaller nick/chips, these can only be seen from the right side, The guard and muzzle ring are also plastic, and in excellent condition. Excellent working press-stud and grips. These were issued with a USN Mk1 Scabbard, this one is in excellent condition. Tang stamped, "U.S.N MARK 1" Opposite side stamped, "P.B.& Co." with an alpha numeric code, "NXSO-17249". I normally see these with broken guards, blades and sockets, nice to see one intact and in wonderful condition. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
