It is marked on toe & heel with former owners name. There are a few holes in the right cheek of the plane. The plane has a great smooth feel and patina. The cutter & wedge are original. The cutter measures: approx., 8\" L x 7/8\" W. It has a lot of life left!! I always recommend sharpening for optimal use. The plane weighs 15oz
