This is a fun and interesting historical perspective of 1950s radio advertising. 43 ads and jingles in all. All the music for these ads was written by Connie Conway and Jimmie Wilcox. All of the ads were recorded at Audio Recorders in Phoenix, AZ. Five of the ads feature Waylon Jennings (!)
Fervor Records is a Phoenix,Arizona-based independent record label that began by licensing vintage music byand from Arizona-based artists. Overtime, Fervor expanded their reach and the company now specializes in unearthingand acquiring vintage music of all genres across the entire country. Fervor works very closely with motion pictureand TV production companies to place their music catalog in movies, televisionshows and commercials. Music licensed by Fervor has been featured in hundredsof movies and TV shows; including movies such as the Academy-award-winning“Green Book”, M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass”, great independent films like “Boundaries”,“The Professor”, “The Pretty One” and countless others. Fervor-licensed music has been featured inbroadcast and cable shows such as “Homeland”, “Van Helsing”, “NCIS”, “Bate’sMotel”…and the list goes on and on. Fervor also releases new music by well-knownartists such as Francine Reed, guitarist Craig Erickson, rapper Tariq NuClothesand many other. As Fervor’s catalog grew, and because of Fervor’s close workingrelationship Hollywood, the company wanted an easy way for the productioncompanies to be able to review all of the music available so that the musiccould be licensed for Hollywood’s use.So, several years ago, Fervor produced a set of 14 genre CDs representinga lot of their vast catalog. Up untilnow, these CDs were for promotional purposes only. They were not for sale. However, now for thefirst time, these great CDs are available from ArizonaMedia on Amazon.
