This is a Fenton Peach Crest Melon Vase that is called a Charleton Roses vase because it was hand painted by the Abels Wasserberg Co in New York in 1940’s
The Fenton Glass company made the Peach crest blank in its Williamstown, WV Glassworks in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Then it was purchased by the Abels Wasserberg Company in New York City to be handpainted and then marketed as a Charleton vase by both The vases number was 192-5" . It is called a melon vase because it’s ribbed like a cantaloupe melon. It has a Ruffled Crimped edge/top and shows Wear consistent with age and use. It appears in the Fenton 1943 catalog Page 9 Vase Shows light wear on gilding (See Photos) From a smoke free, but not pet free home.
