The sequel was produced and became one of the series works that represent Sega as the "Phantasy Star" series.
In the 2000s, online games' PSO and PSU series were distributed, and the content of the action RPG style was supported by many players.
And in 2017, the "Phantasy Star" series celebrates its 30th anniversary.
