We have the privilege to offer you this beautiful original 2 3/8 inch French Napoleon hand made sterling silver snuff box, about 75 grams, the top being a Napoleon sterling silver medal by Jean-Bertrand Andrieu (1761-1822), signed Andrieu, from the early 19th Century. The sterling box appears to be from the 1890 era.

The silver medal by Andrieu has the words Napoleon Empereur Des Francais Roi Ditalie surrounding a bust of Napoleon. This box was very important to someone as it was monogramed on the inside, GDG.

This is a great piece of French history.
