Colan/Leialoha wraparound cover.This issue is notable for two reasons: The first appearance of Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel in a full-page illustration of Ms. Marvel by Johnny Romita, plus a preview of the front cover of Ms. Marvel #1. This appearance predates the publication of Ms. Marvel #1 by four months. And this is the first appearance of Captain Britain, predating Captain Britain Weekly #1 (October 1976) by a month. Captain Britain appeared in Captain Britain Weekly, which featured runs by writers Chris Claremont and Alan Moore, and artist Alan Davis.
