Exceptional 19th c. Copper Lustreware Pitcher w Handle & Hand Decor 8.5”:

I have not seen any other example like this on the internet, so I am assuming this shape and style are rare. This estate fresh copper luster ware pitcher with handle stands about 8.5” tall. It is a fine survivor of the middle to later 19th century. Appears to be a kind of bamboo pattern in the mold, with vines, flowers and leaves cold painted in light green on top of the copper glaze. Really attractive piece. The round flat bottom seems to be rare as I have found no other examples. In very good condition commensurate with age. Tiny ding on the top finial of the handle. Small ding on the inside upper rim and small ding to the spout and a few no-show nicks to the base underside. Please ask questions before purchasing and thank you for looking!
