This Ansonia Capitol is a stunning looker and I am enjoying it in my living while for sale. I did purchase it years ago without the header and finials not realizing what a valuable clock it is. After years of looking for proper finials I purchased the exact precision replicas from georg wood on and finished them to be a bit darker than rest of case. I made the header from hand about 8 years ago and it came out alright. I am not selling clock as 100 percent original but if it were this is a 1900 clock, I\'m proud of the outcome and think my price is for good value and I have a lot of time into it to get it here. The clock is in excellent working condition and runs and strikes perfectly and always has since day one. It measures about 54\" in height and 14\' in width. The clock is a decorative collectible that would make a great addition to any collection. It was made in Brooklyn NY after Ansonia moved from CT sometime from 1883 to 1901 and has a great Victorian look. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn\'t miss anything and try my best to pack well. This baby is not like shipping pair of sneakers and I\'m hoping someone local or a crate might and greyhound might be good too. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. I\'ve been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled.
