Post Civil War photographic portrait, not a sepia engraved image, of RETIRED CONFEDERATE ICON and president of WASHINGTON COLLEGE, Robert E Lee. The IMAGERY is SUPERB. PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT is undamaged with Superior clarity. The DETAILING is AMAZING. Lee\'s imagery is encased, in the original EMBOSSED rice paper SLEEVE with a large oval viewport. There is minor age soiling but absolutely no foxing. The CDV is in the original VICTORIAN ALBUM PAGE with GOLD TRIM surrounding the CDV. ( The Victorian Page measures  5 x 4 )...The CDV maybe removed from the page for further viewing. The borders are straight and the corners are sharp and intact.
