Up for sale today is this Entering Wellesley highway sign. Made to the exact state standard as devised in the early 1950s to resemble an open book; this sign style persisted until about 1975 when the more modern flat-bottom variant came into prevalence.

As far as I know, none of these curved-bottom signs, featuring the classic Massachusetts highway sign font, remain in existence. If one should show up, it would command a price of several hundred or multiple thousands of dollars. Here is your chance to own an example of this style of sign, without breaking the bank.
