Beautiful British Pot
This broad Pot from Dunhill features a bowl with plenty of chamber capacity amid thick, insulating walls with a flattened heel set to a trim shank and elegantly tapered stem of modest length. A stable sitter, thanks to the heel and underside of the shank, this handsome, vintage piece is wearing the dark, ruby-tinged sandblast of the Shell Briar finish, which is both eye-catching and texturally intriguing along with a smooth rim revealing some beautiful birdseye.
This pot was made just after the patent years. In fact I thought it was a patent when I first saw it, due to stem dot, color of the stain, and texture of the blast. This is an absolutely stellar example of an older Dunhill. Pipe is in very good condition for it\'s age and will make a great addition to your collection, or just an excellent smoker, carved from the best briar of the era.
The pipe has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and it\'s ready to be enjoyed with your favorite tobacco.
