Description

Stories and art by Dick Ayers, Fred Ottenheimer, and Rocco \"Rocke\" Mastroserio. Eh! was Charlton\'s attempt at a one-word-title humor and satire comic, inspired by the success of EC\'s Mad. A boxing manager needing a new fighter looks for the toughest guy he can find, but they all have some hidden weakness. Hoiman the cab driver faces the strange and dangerous challenges of picking up a day\'s fares in the city. Eh! does a version of Longfellow\'s \"Paul Revere\'s Ride,\" just as Mad did a year later. Spoofs of 1950s advertising, including cigarettes, deodorant (\"He smells like a gymnasium!\"), and \"Cellophane Diapers\" - as Alfred E. Neuman would say, \"Yecch!\" The cover features an unprintable visual pun.
