This Early WW2 US Army USGI M1936 M36 OD3 Web Canvas Pistol Equipment Belt is in good condition overall but does show expected signs of age, service and storage. The belt retains a faint ink contract stamp but it is difficult to read, though the use of "OD3" colored material would suggest Early War production. The "U. S." ink stamp is still present and displays nicely. Light staining is present on the web canvas but no serious damage from abuse or neglect can be noticed. Metal hardware shows signs of age but is still in good, serviceable condition. Of particular interest, this belt shows a fascinating mixture of brass, steel and aluminum hardware which accurately highlights the chaotic atmosphereof Early War productionin the US.
