Early Patent Date Large Butcher Knife, 11” Blade. Pewter Bolsters.:

Large Butcher Knife, 11” Blade. 17” overall.

. Well made with smooth carbon steel blade. Sharp. Patent pewter bolsters with pewter pins. Patent date appears to be March 94 as in 1894. I believe cast pewter bolsters came out during that period. The earlier knives had steel bolsters. Unable to clearly read patent date on blade.
