All of these historical documents and autographs and ephemera that I am listing came out of a 19th century scrapbook that I purchased about 30 years ago. I am finally getting around to removing many of the items which includes numerous historical autographs, and paper ephemera. I have not authenticated any of these but some have information on them which will give you information on age. This sale is for an early handwritten copy of Isaac Watts poem “ A sight of Heaven in Sickness”. Written on a single sheet of hand laid paper on both sides. Paper measures 5 1/2” by 10”. Bottom says “B.Kite recommends this foregoing lines to the consideration of his sick friend M Harper”. The Kite family were members of the Society of Friends from Philadelphia.
