Starfleet’s first true warship, the U.S.S. Defiant (NX-74205) was initially designed by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the featurefilm Star Trek: First Contact art illustrator Jim Martin.

Thisexcellent model of the U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205 Starship is cast in high-qualitymaterials and carefully painted by hand to provide incredible detail. Thestarship comes boxed with a 20-page magazine.

TheDefiant is a prototype warship stationed at Deep Space 9 that was in-partdesigned by Commander Benjamin Sisko himself. It's the first ship built byStarfleet specifically for war, in light of a devastating defeat by the Borg.The Defiant is equipped with a Romulan cloaking device and ablative armor thatcan rapidly dissipate impact from energy weapon fire. After many missions, theDefiant was destroyed in 2375 during the Second Battle of Chin’toka in the DS9episode “The Changing Face of Evil.”
