EXTREMELY LONG ANTIQUE SWORD IN CASE IRON HANDLE NEPAL:

I bought this sword a long time ago in Nepal and I think it is Nepali. The handle is iron, and the length of the blade is 30 inches, and, in the case, it measures 46 inches.The \'iron handle\' is in fact a short matchlock gun barrel, the small lug that extends slightly out from the barrel is a \'touchhole\' where the gunpowder primer isplaced,and the barrel is muzzle loaded with the main charge and bullet / ball. This is in fact, although somewhat crude, a combination weapon. It could be fired simply by touching the touch hole with a taper or even an incense stick.The sword case is wood with some metal strips. It is a mighty sword!
