This is a very good single crystal of azurite specimenfrom Bisbee. It is an example of the dark blue crystals found in Bisbee\'s underground mines in its early days. The crystal is double terminated and undamaged, It has a tiny point of attachment near one of the terminations with a remnant oflimonite matrix; not a floater crystal.It even has a tiny, secondaryrosette formation standing on the opposite termination.

It’s a great old collection piece from historic Bisbee, ‘Queen of the Copper Camps’. Bisbee mines have been closed for almost 50 years (1975).
