First Appearance of Pete Wisdom

The only character with no powers recruited by DEADPOOL for his X-FORCE team in Fox Studios\' Deadpool 2(2018) was PETER (Rob Delaney), a normal guy with Diabetes and the desire for new adventure. Of all the odd mutants who joined X-Force, only DOMINO, Deadpool and Peter survived the jump from a helicopter at the start of their first mission -- although Peter would die moments later trying to rescue another team member who landed in a woodchipper. However, during the film\'s post-credits sequence, Deadpool used CABLE\'s time-travel device to go back and rescue Peter from his unfortunate if not humorous demise.
Delaney\'s Peter follows Ryan Reynold\'s \"Merc With a Mouth\" into this summer\'s Deadpool and Wolverine (2024), thus giving the character his own First Appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That he does also opens prior considerable speculation that Peter is really the mutant MI6 Agent PETER WISDOM, who has the power of absorbing solar radiation and ambient heat which he can then release from his fingertips as semi-solid thermal energy projectiles.
As Marvel Studios has already began planting the seeds of Mutantdom inside the MCU with secret mutants like MS. MARVEL (KAMALA KHAN), Peter might very well be revealed to be a Mutant and even a spy, one with latent powers that have been confused as or even which have caused his diabetic condition.
