This tall frame lantern is very clean and in very nice condition with some minor patina areas and some minor surface wear areas. It is a very strong and well shaped frame. No dents and no dings. The frame color is a light to medium gray. The lid is nicely cast with ERIE. R.R. The inside dome and fount areas are exceptionally clean. The handle is well shaped. The clear globe is also nicely cast with E.R.R. Co. in a wide oval and the Corning Cnx logo. No cracks and no chips. Very clear glass with some very minor surface wear and some minor manufacturing imperfections, including 2 surface bubbles. The top and bottom edges are very nice with minimal wear. The burner is a matching brass Adlake screw in type….The wick moves up and down as expected, the burner functions flawlessly and is easy to remove and insert. The burner area is very clean. The bottom of the fount has a small repair. Overall, a very nice lantern.
